Self-validation doesn't mean that you believe your thoughts or think your feelings are justified.

Symptom: Wireless Network Connection has a status of Validating Identity.

Solutions: Right click on Wireless Network Connection icon. Click on …a: Double Click the offending Validating Identity icon in your system tray.

I was on the internet using a wireless hookup, then im not on the internet and its telling me its trying to "Validate Identity" I don't know what this means or what it needs to Validate and or who's or whats Identity?

Are you receiving an endless "Validating Identity" connection status when trying to connect to a wireless network.

If you fight the thoughts and feelings, or judge yourself for having them, then you increase your emotional upset.

You'll also miss out on important information about who you are as a person.

Select your encryption type from the "Network Authentication" and "Data Encryption" drop downs.

b: In the Following Wireless Network Connection Status Window click on Properties.

c: In the Resulting Wireless Connection Properties Window click on …For validating Identity, you might be using a pre-shared key password (either wpa or wpa2 or both).

I am sharing a secured wireless internet connection and the signal is strong.

My system picks it up automatically and windows is managing my wireless called Intel Proset Wireless, however just after it connects it drops the connection.I have never encountered this with other wireless connections for which I have the password.
