Now we are both single for the first time in 5 years, and he says he’d like to go out with me on a date because he’s always wanted to.

I’m not really sure what to make of this guy since he has listened to me so many times about my relationship problems but has still continued to want to talk to me. I need help please, I’ve known this guys for 7 years he knows everything about me and I know everything about him.

So let’s assume that I’m right and you like him and you’d like it if he wants you back.

I would even bet that you’re probably hoping I write back that he does like you. At the heart of all of these games and guesses is doubt.

We always flirt and when he is saying goodbye he gives me a hug and buries his nose in my neck.

I dont know if he likes me or what but im sortof mixed weather i like him or not too.

But deeper than that, what you’re hoping is for me to confirm that I see things the way you want them to be – “he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, etc.” You ever play those games? It’s a sense that you don’t really believe that it could be true, but you really want it to be.
